Designed to be used with high pressure water drain cleaning equipment to prevent the nozzle and hose from existing the drain in the event the hose turns around on itself within the drain.
This kind of deign allows various sized high-pressure hoses & camera cables to be inserted into the drain at the same time without having to remove the plate from over the drain. The opening also allows for the operator to hear what is going on within the drain whilst being protected from the effluent spray drain.
